Carnival Marbella
Blog
There are few weeks in Spain when there are no festive events. During the low season and the return to calm after the Christmas festivities and before the incredible Easter celebrations with the Holy Week processions, Spain always finds a good excuse to party, and for this occasion it is Carnival.
Carnival is like a huge street party in which most Spanish towns and villages participate. There is an uncontrollable frenzy, laughter, joy and good humour. During the carnival, you will meet medieval knights, clowns, pirates, superheroes, fairy tale creatures and much more in every corner of the city.
The carnival in the seaside resort of Marbella will take place from Saturday 18 to Saturday 25 February. The city will be filled with colour and joy for the occasion. A big parade and a big show (El Pregon) at the Palacio de Congresos are on the programme. The Great Humour Parade (El Desfile del humor) will be held on Saturday 25 February.
